Komal Khan, estudiante becada por la Cátedra Milla del Conocimiento; Gijón Smart Cities y que realiza su trabajo fin de master en el Gijón Smart Cities Demo Lab impartirá un taller sobre «Home Automation via Google Assistant & Basic demo of visual programming in Node-RED» junto con las estudiantes del Master Erasmus Mundus en Transporte Sostenible y Sistemas de Potencia Nour Mousa and Rand Madanat en el próximo evento «Women Tehcmakers» patrozinado por Google que se celebrará el próximo 6 de Abril en la Escuela Politécnica de Ingeniería de Gijón. ¡Es un orgullo trabajar con estas estudiantes!

Komal Khan, scholarship student of the Chair Mile of Knowledge; Gijón Smart Cities and which is doing its final master thesis at the Gijón Smart Cities Demo Lab will give a workshop on «Home Automation via Google Assistant & Basic demo of visual programming in Node-RED» together with the students of the Master Erasmus Mundus in Sustainable Transport and Power Systems Nour Mousa and Rand Madanat in the next event «Women Tehcmakers» sponsored by Google which will be held on April 6 at the Polytechnic School of Engineering in Gijón. We are proud to work with these students!

During the last ten years I worked in the University of Oviedo. I had several projects with companies like ABB, Arcelor, EdP, REE, Hidrocantabrico, CAF,... Nowadays Im involved in a International Master Course Project in "Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems". The course will start next september in the University of Oviedo. We have several partners univiersities like University of Nottinham, University of Rome and Higher Engineering Institute of Coimbra. Teachers from all of these universities will collaborate in theaching. Several companies are involved like ABB, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Edp, HC, Seat, Ford, Trainelec, Gamesa. The companies will collaborate in teaching and also offering internships and Master Thesis toutoring.
